AMRC Research Fellowships

The Asia Minor Research Center (Antalya, Turkey) sponsors an annual research fellowship of $6,000 for a biblical scholar to visit and research in Turkey. This annual fellowship grant is for postdoctoral and early career scholars who have already obtained their doctorate.

(Note: Tutku tours offers a similar research grant of $4,000 for doctoral students. For information, visit https://www.biblicalturkey.org/tutkufellowship .)

The fellowship is designed to facilitate biblical research and learning through a personal trip to ancient sites in Turkey. Fellows should plan to be based in Antalya. Research topics should be focused within the field of biblical studies, particularly the social, material, and/or geographical context of the New Testament/Early Christian Origins. There are no assigned dates for the fellowship; in communication with AMRC staff, fellows can select their own dates.

The deadline for annual grants is February 1.
