About Us

BiblicalTurkey.org illuminates early Christian history in Turkey through resources, research, and training. The content is designed for anyone interested in the ancient history of ancient Asia Minor: researchers, tourists, pilgrims, tour guides, etc.

The website is hosted by Jason Borges, a PhD candidate at the University of Durham. His dissertation examines the meaning(s) of early Christian travel in Paul and Ignatius of Antioch. Jason also serves as the Assistant Director of the Asia Minor Research Center in Antalya, Turkey (ancient Attalia). His current role includes conducting biblical research, publishing resources, leading study tours, and hosting training seminars. Jason works along with Dr. Mark Wilson, the author of books including Biblical Turkey and founding director of the AMRC.
