Consultation for Biblical Itineraries

I often see group itineraries that waste time on the road, pass by an important site, or overnight in the wrong location. This bothers me, especially when the mishaps are easily preventable.
People spend a lot of money to travel abroad and visit sites. Their time is valuable and should not be wasted. I believe that every itinerary should provide an optimal learning experience.

To that end, I offer (for free) to review itineraries for biblical tours in Turkey. I’ve made this offer to many tour leaders in person, but wanted to make it public. If you are leading a trip to Turkey, I would be glad to review your itinerary and offer suggestions.
There are two main reasons itineraries may need improvement.
One, Turkey continues to invest significantly in building new roads, opening new archaeological sites, and restoring archaeological museums. Plus, there are always new excavations to visit. All of this means that the ideal (or most efficient) itinerary for Turkey tours changes with time. Last year’s trip might not work as well this year.
Two, most itineraries are designed by office staff, and they are not as aware of the latest conditions at the actual sites. They do a good job, but there is usually room for fine-tuning.
If you are interested, message me through the contact page: https://www.biblicalturkey.org/contact-4. The timing is important. Please message me after you have drafted an itinerary (if you need initial ideas, see the post “Planning Your Trip to Turkey”), but before your plans have been finalized with the tour agency (as that is too late to make changes). Also, please note that this offer is only for "biblical tours," not any tour in Turkey.
I look forward to hearing from you!
