Podcast: Lystra Excavations w/ Prof. Mimiroglu

I'm excited to join OnScript: Biblical World as a new podcast host, interviewing scholars and archaeologists about the material contexts of early Christianity. I hope to release a new interview about once a month.

My first guest is Prof. Ilker Mimiroglu, the lead Turkish archaeologist at Lystra and head of the Department of Early Christian and Byzantine Arts at Necmettin Erbakan University. In July 2026, Prof. Mimiroglu kindly toured us around the site and sat down for this interview about the city's history and excavations.
